Pyon and MetaTrader

Pyon offers a visual strategy workspace alongside MetaTrader's mature Expert Advisor ecosystem.

Build on a browser canvas instead of in MQL.

MetaTrader's Expert Advisors use MQL and can be tested and optimized in its Strategy Tester. Pyon offers a browser-based strategy canvas instead: connect supported triggers, conditions, and actions visually, or ask the AI builder to draft a graph for you to review.

Pyon backtests a strategy on historical aggregate bars and reports trades, drawdown, Sharpe ratio, and other core measures. Supported broker integrations include a MetaTrader connection, subject to account setup and supported assets. Pyon does not run MQL code, so an existing Expert Advisor must be rebuilt in the visual strategy representation before it can be tested there.

  • Browser workspace

Build and test a strategy in Pyon's web app.

  • Visual logic

Use supported nodes for triggers, conditions, sizing, and actions without writing MQL.

  • AI builder

Ask for a strategy graph, then inspect and edit the result before testing it.

  • Backtest review

Inspect historical trades, drawdown, and other risk metrics. Configure costs explicitly when needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import an Expert Advisor?

No. Pyon cannot execute MQL or import an Expert Advisor directly. Rebuild supported rules on the visual canvas and check the new graph's behavior in a backtest.

Do I need a VPS?

Pyon's builder is browser-based. Live strategy execution uses Pyon's connected broker infrastructure where available; confirm your broker, account, and deployment mode before relying on it.

How does the MetaTrader integration work?

Pyon includes a MetaTrader broker integration in its backend. Availability and supported order behavior depend on your connected account and configuration.
